To access the Aysén Region, it is carried out through the following routes:

Bimodal System

This access can be done from the north, it consists of taking three barges with short stretches from Puerto Montt to the junctions, taking the Austral road to Coyhaique.

Air

The planes arrive at the Balmaceda airport, coming from Santiago and Puerto Montt. Also, there are small planes to access the internal localities of the region.

Terrestrial

This access is through the border crossings in Argentina. Currently, there are 12 border crossings.

Seaway

Through this route the coast is traveled from Puerto Montt to Puerto Chacabuco, a port that is located an hour and a half from Coyhaique. The crossing from Puerto Montt, lasts 24 hours, where you can see the Reloncaví basin and the Golfo de Corcovado, as well as channels and fjords.
